All the staff work closely with the Early Years Foundation Stage, which was put into place in September 2008, to encourage an equal amount of adult led and child led activities throughout children aged 0-60.  This framework carries on into each child’s learning at school.  In the nursery, each child has there own folder which holds daily observations, learning journeys and reports, parents are welcome to access the folders freely. Daily planning is followed by all the staff in all four rooms, where the activities are developed around each child's interests.  Festivals and cultures are also explored and celebrated through out the year.  Please click on any of the photos below to find out more about each room. The Little’s room caters for children aged 24 months-36 months with a staff ration of 1:4.  The Little’s room is a bright and stimulating environment for the children to access resources and toys at their own level and to develop and explore their interests and independence.  The room is divided into sections including a cosy sea themed quiet area, a messy/creative area, role play, small world and construction area as well as having their very own computer.
